CD Showcases Students’ Musical Talent and Supports Class of 2024’s Senior Trip – Order your CD Compilations, Energized Yellow Mixtape and Relaxed Purple Mixtape, featuring music from Evan Poplaski, Jayden Ginthwain, Cristian Melendez, and Nathan Robinson with cover art crafted by Alexandra Bartlett now! Earth Day – BART Student Ambassadors and students in grades 8 and 9 students will pick up trash along the rail trail from 8:30a.m. - 10 a.m. on Earth Day, Tuesday April 23. The Adams Department of Public Works will provide gloves and trash bags.
Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser for Senior Prom – Support our Senior Prom! RSVP now to our spaghetti dinner fundraiser with bake sale at Bounti-Fare April 29 from 4:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. Cost is $10.00 per person and includes: salad, spaghetti, meatballs, marinara sauce, and garlic bread. In addition, baked goods will be available to purchase. Students may buy tickets during student lunch times or families may RSVP by email to Prom Advisor, Betty LeSage at [email protected]. Please include your name, the number of dinners you want, your estimated time of arrival at Bounti Fare, and whether you will eat in or take your meals to go. Deadline to RSVP is April 23. Bounti-Fare is located at 200 Howland Avenue/Route 8, Adams, MA. Buon appetito!
BART Students Exhibit at Mass MoCA 12th Annual Teen Invitational – 50 BART students (grades 8-12) will have artwork on display at Mass MoCA’s 12th Annual Teen Invitational. This is truly an event that our students look forward to every year and one that we feel honored to be a part of! Historically, this event brings in money and prizes for BART’s arts department and to our students for the work they submit. Opening reception is Friday April 12 from 6:00-9:00 p.m. Exhibit hours are Friday - Sunday 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Living After Loss: Drop-in Teen Support Group – If life is throwing challenges your way and you are dealing with loss, swing by the Pittsfield Public Library to HospiceCare in The Berkshires’ monthly drop-in teen support group. You’ll be able to connect with other people aged 12-17 who are going through a similar experience. Come to a supportive and safe space where you can find comfort in sharing your experience while learning new skills to help you cope. You’re not alone—let’s face this together! Pittsfield Public Library/Berkshire Athenaeum Room, 1 Wendell Ave, Pittsfield, on the first Wednesday of every month at 5:30-6:30 p.m.
