Introducing the BART 2025-2030 Strategic Plan
Welcome to the roadmap for the next chapter of Berkshire Arts & Technology Charter Public School.
Since our founding in 2004, BART has been committed to providing a rigorous, college-preparatory education enriched with arts and technology for students across the Berkshires. Following our successful, unconditional Charter Renewal in 2024, our Board, leadership, and community collaborated to create the 2025-2030 Strategic Plan—our commitment to maximizing our potential over the next five years.
This plan serves as our blueprint to become an unparalleled academic institution, ensuring every student achieves mastery and college readiness. It is built upon recent community feedback and focuses on three core pillars:
- Academic Excellence: Cultivating a data-driven community that promotes mastery through high-impact instruction.
- Positive Culture: Nurturing a community of respect, belonging, and shared success among students, staff, and families.
- Operational Stability: Building the necessary financial, facility, and human resources capacity to sustain and strengthen our mission for the long term.
Our goal is clear: to move beyond "moderate progress" and achieve the status of a School of Recognition by 2030, securing BART's future as the premier public charter school in the Berkshires.
