1. Application & Enrollment Overview

Welcome to the BART family! We are delighted that you are considering (or continuing) your educational journey with us. BART is committed to providing a rigorous, supportive, and engaging learning environment.

Admission to BART for new students is determined by an equitable, public lottery system.

Application Status: BART is currently accepting applications for grades 6-10.

The Next Application Deadline: The deadline for the next enrollment lottery is Tuesday, October 14 at 12:00 PM (Noon). Applications submitted by this time will be included in the upcoming lottery for the current 2025-2026 school year.

To begin your journey or confirm your student's placement, please select the appropriate academic year below. You will find comprehensive details on application requirements, important dates, and lottery schedules.

  • In your account, you can add, complete, and submit your student's application.

How to Apply: Applications are available online at bartcharter.schoolmint.com or on paper by request. The Enrollment Team will confirm your application receipt and advise you of the next steps in the lottery and registration process.

Looking Ahead: 2026-2027 School Year

If you are planning ahead and interested in enrolling your student for the 2026-2027 academic year, the application window is not yet open.

  • Please check back in the late Fall of 2025 for the official application form, deadlines, and lottery details.

3. Eligibility & Policy

Can my child enroll at BART? If your child is eligible to enroll in a district public school in Massachusetts, then they are eligible to enroll at BART.
