About the Show

All in the Timing is a celebrated collection of short comedic plays that find the extraordinary in the ordinary. Our production showcases the incredible range of our upper-school performers as they navigate fast-paced dialogue, physical comedy, and the delightful complexities of the English language.

A Showcase of Talent

To ensure every student in our 29-person ensemble class has the opportunity to shine, this production has been double-cast. This allows our young artists to take on significant roles and brings a unique energy to each performance.

Chicago: Teen Edition

We stepped into the roaring 1920s with Chicago: Teen Edition, a dazzling, high-energy adaptation of the legendary Broadway musical—tailored for a younger cast, but packing just as much punch!

This bold and stylish production follows the scandalous exploits of Roxie Hart and Velma Kelly as they vie for fame, fortune, and freedom in a city where the truth is as slippery as a jazz tune. With iconic choreography, show-stopping numbers like “All That Jazz” and “Cell Block Tango,” and a cast of rising teen stars, this performance left us tapping our feet and cheering for more.

As a part of its Creative Leaders in Residence program, BART was excited to welcome Dr. Stephon Alexander. Dr. Alexander, a professor of physics at Brown University, is a theoretical physicist and jazz musician specializing in cosmology, particle physics, and quantum gravity. During this residency at BART, he explored the interconnections among music, mathematics, and nature with students.

Dr. Alexander delivered a public performance as part of our “BART Presents!” series. His performance was titled, “From Hip Hop to the Cosmos,”.
