🌸 Spring Fling Dance: Cherry Blossom Celebration (4/3)
Students, join us tomorrow night, April 3, from 6–9 pm for a "Cherry Blossom" themed night of music, food, and games! Open to all BART students in grades 6-12.
Easter Rock Hunt at the Glen (4/4–4/12)
Hike the Meadow Loop Trail at the Greylock Glen Center and see how many hidden painted stones you can find! This event features artwork by BART, HVMS, and HVHS students. Please leave all stones where they lie.
Know Your Rights: Immigration Law (4/6, 5 pm)
Join Attorney Jessica David at the MCLA Church Street Center or via Zoom to learn about the immigration process, current enforcement policies, and your rights.
ELA Testing (Starts 4/6)
State testing begins next week for 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. Please ensure students get plenty of rest and arrive on time with a good breakfast to help them do their best!
SEPAC Meeting: MCLA Inclusive Education (4/7, 5:30 pm)
On Tuesday, April 7, via Zoom, SEPAC welcomes Lisa Richards to discuss MCLA’s MAIPSE program—a path for students aged 18-22 with intellectual disabilities to build independence.
Cyber Safety Webinar: Think Before You Click! (4/9, 7 pm)
Join cyber expert Nick Gipson for a virtual session on protecting your family from online threats, including social media safety and AI images. [See attached flyer for details]
Board of Trustees Meeting (4/8, 6 pm)
The BART Board of Trustees will hold its regular monthly meeting on Wednesday, April 8. These meetings are open to the public; please check the school website for the agenda and link.
🌈 Queer Teen Prom (5/16, 8–11 pm)
High schoolers (ages 14–19) are invited to a free Pride party at Wander Berkshires (34 Depot St, Pittsfield). A safe, affirming space for LGBTQ+ youth and allies! [Click here to register]
Nurturing Fathers’ Program
Organized by the NBCC, this program brings fathers together to explore what it takes to be a nurturer and mentor for their children. For info, contact 413-663-7588 or [email protected].
Grief Camp for Kids & Teens: Comfort Zone Camp
CZC provides a safe, nurturing environment where kids (ages 7-18) can have traditional camp fun while acquiring tools to cope with the loss of a loved one. All weekend sleepover camps are at no cost to families. [See attached flyer for 2026 dates and details]
