Family Support & Community Resources

We believe that strong students start with strong families. At BART, we deliver a demanding education and are dedicated to connecting our community with the essential professional services available in the Berkshire area.

This page is designed as a directory and referral guide. BART provides direct support through our school partnerships, but we are not a full-service resource center for community crises.

BART's Core Student Support Partnerships

  1. Care Solace (Mental Health & Substance Use Coordination)

Care Solace is a complimentary and confidential care coordination service available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. They help families find mental health or substance use treatment options matched to their needs regardless of circumstance, insurance, or language.

Access Care Solace: Call: (888) 515-0595 (Support in 200+ languages) | Search Online: https://www.caresolace.com/site/bartcharter | Or: Contact a BART School Counselor (listed below) for assistance with a referral.

  1. iDECIDE (Substance Use Education)

BART uses iDECIDE (Drug Education Curriculum: Intervention, Diversion, and Empowerment) to provide a science-based intervention for students involved in substance use incidents.

Program Details: iDECIDE is an alternative to punitive responses, offering students behavioral support and psychoeducation rooted in evidence-based practices. This program is delivered internally by a trained BART facilitator following a violation of school substance use policy.
