AP Courses + Dual Enrollment
Advanced Placement (AP®) Courses
We are pleased to offer AP® courses at BART. The Advanced Placement (AP®) program, created by the College Board, offers college-level curricula and examinations to high school students. Students who perform well in their AP® classes and on their AP® examinations may be eligible to earn college credit.
For the 2025–2026 school year, BART will offer seven in-person AP® courses:
- AP® English Language and Composition
- AP® English Literature and Composition
- AP® World History: Modern
- AP® Biology
- AP® Studio Art – Drawing
- AP® Precalculus
- AP® Music Theory
Dual Enrollment
Did you know that the BART Class of 2024 took 41 dual enrollment courses at local colleges?
The BART College Office helps students explore a number of higher education opportunities, including:
- Summer college courses at Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts, (MCLA) for students in grades 9–12.
- Classes for juniors and seniors at Berkshire Community College (BCC) and Anna Maria College in the fall and spring.
- Williams College classes for seniors in the fall and spring (professor approval required).
